Ballet and Pointe Instructor 
​Tumbling /Strengthening
                                         

​ Katelyn began her dance training with Evansville  Dance Theatre. She attended summer workshops in  Lexington with Bluegrass Youth  Ballet, City Ballet in San Diego, David Howard, and Nashville Ballet. Katelyn graduated the four year round academic and ballet performing arts program at Kirov Academy of Washington,  D.C. She performed with City Ballet and Nashville Ballet II. In addition to teaching ballet, she is with Montessouri  Academy.

Savanah Scarlett
 Contemporary,  Tap Instructor


Savanah began dancing in her hometown, Evansville, training in classical and competitive dance. At high school age she joined and  graduated from Newburgh Academy of Dance. Savanah attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received a BA in Dance and a BS in Community Health.While at the University of Illinois, she studied with Dr. Kemal Nance in Umfundalai African Dance, Cynthia Oliver, Abby Zbikowski and Linda Lehovec in Modern Dance, Endalyn Taylor in Ballet, and Charlie Maybee-Ferrell in Tap. She has  received extensive training from the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Mark Morris Dance Group, and Boston Ballet. In addition to teaching at the studio, Savanah works at Deaconess in their wellness department. Savanah cannot wait to bring her love for dance back to her home studio and see the students in her classes progress as dancers.

Leah Seaton
​Tumbling/Strengthening Instructor


Leah began her gymnastics and cheer career when she was 7 years old. She
competed in gymnastics regionally for 5 years. During that time she also
participated in competitive cheer as well as school cheer. She is currently
a cheerleader at Boonville High School and will be attending IU next year.

Samer Nassif
Dance Team/ Hiphop Skills Instructor

Samer began dancing in Lebanon, training in Latin, Hiphop, and Street Jazz. Samer performed with Sahar Dance School. He participated in Latin and Standard Ballroom competitions in Lebanon. He spent this summer in LA attending workshops and classes in ballet, hip hop, and contemporary. Samer currently resides in Evansville and attends University of Evansville .











Christen Warren 
Beginner Pointe Instructor


Christen began dancing as part of her training for color guard and winter guard. She trained in the Vaganova method of classical
ballet at Rinat Institute of Dance and Ballet Theatre in Minot, ND, under Rinat Mouzafarov a former principal dancer at the
Bolshoi Ballet.  Christen danced as a company member , assisted with community outreach programs, and served as the
competition coordinator. She later trained at the Central
Pennysylvania Youth Ballet. Christen is enjoying teaching
Beginner Pointe, focusing on proper shoe fit and care,
technique, and building pointe strength.

Brynn Gilbert
Guest Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary Instructor


Brynn comes to us from Memphis, Tennessee, where she
is currently a nationally award winning choreographer and teacher for NVS Dance. She has danced professionally
with the San Francisco Ballet and Ballet Memphis, after
training in Southern California with Southland Ballet Academy, Washington D.C. with the Kirov Ballet, and San Francisco with the San Francisco Ballet School. Awards include  the Youth American Grand Prix winner  at the 2011 Southern California Regionals, 2011 Los Angeles Music Center Spotlight Awards winner, and top 12 at the
Youth American Grand Prix Nationals, as well as
scholarships from the Royal Ballet School of London, 
Hamburg Ballet School in Germany, and the San Francisco
Ballet School. She currently specializes in teaching 
contemporary, ballet, and technique while helping her
​students  reach their fullest potential in their art.

Andrew Rodenberg
Guest Yoga Instructor


Andrew received his 200 hour yoga certification at the Evansville Yoga Center in 2006 with Chris Crews and is
currently enrolled in a 300 hour program. He has been teaching Hatha Yoga for 12 years as a full time instructor. Andrew teaches a wide variety of classes allowing students to find their own way through a group practice. Classes link deliberate movement with breath to strengthen and stretch the body. Students can expect to be able to push themselves when appropriate and back off whenever necessary. In addition to regular classes, Andrew leads workshops on arm balances, inversions, and jump backs, as well as assisting in training other instructors.

Christa St. John
Guest Ballet and Pointe Instructor


Christa St. John is a professional ballet dancer, choreographer, and pedagogue who holds a BA in Dance from Western Kentucky University. She began her early training in Colorado and at the age of 16, joined the Studio Company at Ballet Chicago under the artistic direction of former New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Daniel Duell. At 17, Christa joined Ballet Austin and continued her professional career dancing with Louisville Ballet, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Atlantic City Ballet, Paradise Ballet Theatre, and Key West Contemporary Dance Company. In 2011, she joined Northwest Florida Ballet as a Soloist with the company and became  the Director of the Northwest Florida Ballet Academie's Elementary Division. As Elementary Division Director, she oversaw the implementation of syllabi for four levels of pre-professional ballet dancers and trained incoming Ballet Academie  instructors. Throughout her professional career, she performed diverse classical and contemporary repertoire. Some of her favorite roles include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helena in Midsummer Night's Dream, and the Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker. Christa is currently at Utah University.
